Calling Claire Carless: Vodafone’s former commercial legal director has a new number at Siemens U.K., where she is now the general counsel in Great Britain for the engineering and technology services conglomerate. Carless oversees a department of 35 lawyers serving the four main sectors under the nearly $7 billion Siemens U.K. umbrella: health care, energy, infrastructure, and industry.

She arrives on the heels of newly appointed CEO Roland Aurich, who took the chief executive post in January, and upon the retirement of general counsel Gerard Gent; Siemens also just appointed a GC for its U.S. operations.
