Northern District Magistrate Judge Howard Lloyd told Lisa Berry on Monday to describe in detail discussions that she’d had with former board members and executives, auditors from Ernst & Young, and lawyers at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati about the process of dating option grants at Juniper.
The SEC filed suit against Berry in 2007, claiming that she personally backdated options grants while general counsel at Milipitas-based KLA-Tencor Corp. between 1997 and 1999, and then continued the practice when she was general counsel at Sunnyvale-based Juniper from 1999 to 2004.
