Corporate requests for rate cuts are hardly irrational

I read with particular interest and had a good laugh at the following words from Ms. Patterson’s piece (“Cassandra’s Cry? “, March 27): “corporate clients unceremoniously make irrational demands for billing rate cuts without concern for the consequences on the firms and people who have devoted endless effort to making their business successful.”
