In August, Miles Locker took a week-long vacation to Mexico.
On his first day back, his 21-year career as a state labor lawyer pretty much came to an end. Robert Jones, the Department of Labor Standards and Enforcement’s new chief counsel, put him on paid suspension and ordered him out. A state peace officer followed Locker home and seized his laptop.
