Car buyers claim in a new lawsuit they were duped in a “bait and switch,” with Dodge advertising its Durango Hellcat would only be manufactured for 2021, then announcing within a year that it planned to produce more.

The complaint filed this week in the District of Delaware seeks to hold Dodge parent FCA US and umbrella corporation Stellantis liable for breaching the terms people agreed to when purchasing the 2021 Hellcat, and it alleges consumer protection and advertising laws in seven states have been violated, justifying seven sub-classes.
