Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings’ suit over polychlorinated biphenyls pollution was shut down Monday, when a Superior Court judge granted Monsanto Co.’s motion to dismiss.

The case, filed in September 2021, is one of a number of suits from states seeking to hold the agrochemical manufacturer responsible for environmental damage caused by chemicals it manufactured between the 1930s and 1970s that are now classified as toxic.
