After more than a year’s delay, the judge overseeing the murder trial of Brian G. Nichols said it will resume July 10, and perhaps at a new location. Cobb County Superior Court Judge James G. Bodiford said he would try to wrap up the case-expected to run as long as six months-by the end of the year and warned attorneys that court would be in session six days a week and run until 6 p.m. on weekdays.

“I’m not asking anybody to work till they drop,” said Bodiford, adding that he is “not asking anybody to do anything I’m not willing to do.”
