LG Electronics USA was hit with a subrogation lawsuit on Nov. 2 in Georgia Superior Court for Gwinnett County. The court case, filed by the Jones Law Firm on behalf of Matthew McCoun and Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange, contends that the defendant manufactured a defective washing machine that caused water damage and seeks to recover more than $239,000 in damages. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 23-A-09584-11, McCoun v. LG Electronics USA Inc.
