Prominent environmental lawyer Todd Silliman is moving from the Atlanta managing partner role at his longtime firm, Dentons, to lead Eversheds Sutherland’s U.S. environmental practice.

Silliman, whose work has included defending Georgia county and state governments in environmental challenges for more than 29 years, left his position with Dentons on June 16 and joined Eversheds’ global energy group Tuesday. He will be a partner in Eversheds’ Atlanta office, the firm said Wednesday.
