The pandemic has put health care attorneys in high demand, and two Southeast firms are making significant efforts to add to their growing health law groups to meet clients’ increased need. 

In recent weeks, Tennessee-born Baker Donelson has added a team of six attorneys in Raleigh, North Carolina, expanding its health law group and establishing a presence in the state for the first time. The team is led by shareholders Kenneth Burgess, formerly of North Carolina firm Poyner Spruill, and Matthew Wolfe, formerly of Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein. Iain Stauffer and Matt Fisher join as of counsel, while Mysty Blagg and E. Bahati Mutisya join as associates to round out the initial group.
