Samuel Lanier Felker and Desislava K. Dochevof Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz have stepped in to defend CVS Pharmacy in a false advertising class action over its alcohol-based hand sanitizer product. The case, filed July 27 in Florida Southern District Court by The Wright Law Office and Telfer, Faherty & Anderson, contends that the product’s labeling misleads consumers as to its germ fighting capabilities. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks, is 9:21-cv-81298, Piescik v. CVS Health.
