If it were up to Thomas Corradino, he would have spent his entire career at New Haven Legal Assistance Association Inc., where he helped low-income criminal defendants in court.

Corradino, who spent 19 years at New Haven Legal Assistance Association before being tapped to become a Superior Court judge in 1986, wasn’t reappointed to the bench this year due to medical reasons. His tenure on the bench ended in June after 35 years.
