Amazon.com was slapped with a product liability lawsuit Tuesday in Connecticut District Court. The lawsuit was brought by RisCassi & Davis on behalf of Tamera Langdon. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-01079, Langdon v. Amazon.com Services, LLC.

Langdon alleges that she ordered a Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen System blender from Amazon.com Services but that the company improperly packaged a blade attachment for the device. When she opened the package, Langdon claims, the blade fell on her foot, causing a laceration and other injuries.
