When the Mashantucket Pequots opened Foxwood Resort Casino in 1992 to much fanfare as the Nutmeg State’s first casino, its tribal court was also forming right down the road.

One of the first orders of business was to hire four judges to oversee the court, which handled civil and criminal matters. While many attorneys in southeastern Connecticut were interviewed, Thomas Londregan was one of those selected.
