Archer-Daniels-Midland really wanted Regina Bynote Jones as its new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
The Chicago-based food processing and commodities giant, which brought Jones aboard last September to replace the retiring Cam Findlay, paid the former Baker Hughes legal chief $7 million for her three months of work in 2023.
