Former Starbucks General Counsel Rachel Gonzalez, who got the ax when Howard Schultz returned as CEO in April 2022, received $7.6 million in severance, the coffee giant disclosed in a newly filed proxy statement.

In total, Gonzalez received compensation of $11.7 million last year, more than double the $5.3 million she received a year earlier.
