Fifty-nine Am Law 100 firms had profits per partner of $1 million or more in 2008, five less than in 2007. Included are newcomers Boies Schiller–which premiered in third place–and Crowell & Moring. Wachtell still led the pack, with per-partner profits just over $4 million, down 18.9 percent over 2007.
Amounts on this chart are rounded to the nearest $5,000. Firms that tied are listed alphabetically. Firms marked with an asterisk have more than one partnership tier or have some partners who are predominantly on a fixed income.
