Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan reported some of its client data was impacted in a third-party e-discovery vendor data breach late last week to state attorneys general in California, Maine and Massachusetts, according to public records.

A Quinn spokesperson confirmed the event, noting in a statement “a third-party data center we use for document management for some of our clients became the victim of a ransomware attack.” The impact ”was limited to a small portion of our clients and matters,” the firm said.
