Goodwin Procter and White & Case are both adding teams of intellectual property litigators, the firms separately announced Tuesday, as Big Law firms continue to heavily recruit in the practice amid sustained demand.

Goodwin Procter is hiring a three-partner IP litigation team from White & Case in New York of Scott Weingaertner, Stefan Mentzer and John Padro. Meanwhile, White & Case said it was adding a team of at least 10 lawyers in Silicon Valley from Paul Hastings, including the former co-chair of IP at the firm, Yar Chaikovsky, and partner Phil Ou. And for its part, Paul Hastings confirmed the addition of an IP litigator this week in Chicago, Doug Sawyer, from Perkins Coie.
