Ballard Spahr has restocked its vaunted consumer financial services practice with five attorneys across its footprint, after Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders poached eight attorneys earlier this year.

New York lawyer Brain Turetsky, who joined Ballard as of counsel Monday from Parker Ibrahim & Berg, is the fifth lawyer added to the consumer financial services group since March 22, said the group’s leaders. In the last month, the firm has additionally recruited two licensing specialists to the 75-lawyer group.
