Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has added a three-partner tax controversy team from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, as the firm looks to expand its global tax litigation capabilities with governments across the world stepping up their pursuit of revenues.

Sanford Stark is joining his longtime colleague Michael Desmond as a co-leader of Gibson Dunn’s newly formed global tax controversy and litigation practice group. He is joined by partners Saul Mezei and C. Terrell Ussing. The three attorneys are based in Washington, D.C.
