China’s Zhong Lun Law Firm has added two partners in Shanghai.

Disputes partner Jerry Fang moves from Global Law Offices, where he has been a partner advising multinationals on litigation, investigations and compliance matters in China. He will take with him such clients as LinkedIn, Airbnb and department store operator Lane Crawford. Fang arrives at Zhong Lun with three associates on Dec. 1.

Fang had joined Global Law in the summer of 2015 from Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he had been a Hong Kong-based associate specializing in U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act-related matters. Before joining Davis Polk in 2014, he practiced with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson in Beijing and New York. Earlier in his career, he served as a district court judge in eastern China’s Taizhou city.

Fang will work alongside Zhong Lun Shanghai partner Gary Gao and Beijing partner Liu Xiangwen—lawyers who both joined the firm in recent years as part of Zhong Lun’s effort to ramp up the regulatory and compliance practice. Gao came from Duan & Duan and Liu joined from King & Wood Mallesons.

Restructuring partner Feixiang Yang joins the firm from Shanghai-based bankruptcy specialist Junyue Law Firm, where he was a partner. Yang specializes in insolvency and restructuring transactions as well as insurance matters. He has represented large Chinese insurers, including the People’s Insurance Company of China and Ping An Insurance Co. Ltd.
