Clyde & Co has added a partner to its Singapore office.
Eugene Tan, who will lead the firm’s Southeast Asia construction practice, was previously a director with Singapore firm Drew & Napier. He advises owners and contractors in the construction and engineering sector on matters including insurance claims and contract drafting and negotiation, as well as litigation and arbitration.
Tan joined Drew & Napier in 2003 as an associate and became a partner 2009. Before that, he was an associate with another Singapore firm, Lee & Lee.
Clyde & Co, which has a joint law venture with local firm Clasis, has over 30 lawyers in its Singapore office, including 12 partners. Globally, the London-based firm has over 1,400 lawyers in 35 offices.
