Former Twitter chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde has prevailed in her fight to force her former employer to pay $1.1 million in legal fees she rang up in connection with an appearance before a U.S. House committee early this year.

Attorneys for the San Francisco-based company, now known as X Corp., had balked at the size of Gadde’s fee-reimbursement request, calling it “unreasonable in the extreme.”
