The Department of Justice began delivering payments this month to individuals from a recent federal lawsuit alleging violations of the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act for properties constructed in West Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota, according to a press release.

In March 2020, the DOJ filed a federal lawsuit which alleged that the Hampton Corporation and several other individuals and entities violated the FHA and ADA by failing to design and construct multifamily residential properties and an associated rental office that are accessible to people with disabilities.
