The April 25 oral argument in United States v. Trump, __ U.S. __, while perhaps focused on the existence and scope of presidential immunity both during, and after leaving office, it is likely from the oral argument that concern by a number of the Justices for a post-Presidential indictment reflects a wary concern for cases like Alvin Bragg’s indictment in People v. Trump, and a possible second Trump Administration reign of retribution.
