Election Day is just around the corner, with judicial races across the state to be decided during a nonpartisan primary on May 21.

In addition to those judges seeking reelection, new candidates are vying for vacancies and seats occupied by sitting judges. In Gwinnett County, one such hopeful, private practice attorney and state optometry board member B. Thassanee Gutter-Parker, is vying for the vacancy that is set to be created by Gwinnett County Superior Court Division Five judge Karen Beyers‘ retirement.
