In response to protests on campus, Emory University is moving its graduating ceremonies for the entire school, including its School of Law, to a convention center 23 miles north of the campus, officials for the private Atlanta university said Monday.

Rather than the traditional location in the Quadrangle area on the campus, Emory students will attend a ceremony on Monday, May 13, at Gas South Convention Center, located next to the Arena at the Gas South District, at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, Georgia, according to the university’s website. The ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the convention center, according to the university’s website.
