The plaintiffs firm that won a $45 million talcum powder verdict last month against Johnson & Johnson opened on Thursday with another trial.

Benjamin Adams, of Dallas-based Dean Omar Branham Shirley, told jurors in Oregon that his client, Kyung Lee, was diagnosed with mesothelioma at age 48 after decades of being exposed to Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder, starting from the time she was born in 1974, according to Courtroom View Network’s live streaming of the trial.
