Back in February 2023, Gordon Platt and I predicted a steady growth of legal actions hitting Generative AI vendors for, among other things, copyright infringement, various privacy torts, breach of contract, unfair competition and violation of various federal statutes, such as DMCA.

Today, it seems that our forecast was quite moderate and underestimated the now-amplifying scale of AI-driven litigation amid the ballooning number of individual lawsuits filed almost every single day in addition to the now-growing number of class actions.
