James Sonne has been named director of the new Religious Liberty Clinic at Stanford Law School. Sonne, formerly a Horvitz & Levy associate, will also be a lecturer in law. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1997.

Daniel Muller has joined Buchman Provine Brothers Smith as of counsel. Muller, who was previously with Morgan Miller Blair and opened the Law Offices of Daniel A. Muller in early 2010, focuses on representing property/business owners and public agencies in litigation involving land use, direct and inverse condemnation, environmental and related real property and business disputes. He graduated from UC-Davis School of Law in 1993.
