Berkeley Law professor John Yoo on Wednesday told a state bar court judge he saw nothing in the 2020 presidential election that would have warranted Vice President Mike Pence interfering with the electoral vote count in January 2021.

Yoo, in his third day of testimony in John Eastman’s professional misconduct trial, said a vice president confronted with a contested state election result could investigate the matter or look to court decisions for guidance.
