The Superior Court of Pennsylvania reversed a summary judgment award in favor of a Chester County assistant district attorney after determining that he improperly disclosed information to two civil practitioners that had been obtained via wiretapping an inmate’s jailhouse phone calls.

Olivia G. Chiles appealed the Chester County Court of Common Pleas’ December 2021 order awarding summary judgment to Christopher E. Miller after she sought damages for Miller’s disclosure of intercepted communications to an insurance lawyer and her husband’s divorce attorney.
