Personal injury firm Fellerman & Ciarimboli has found itself in dispute with its professional liability insurance carrier over whether expenses incurred in the firm’s litigation with a fellow Philadelphia-area personal injury practice over alleged client poaching are covered under its policy.

Capitol Specialty Insurance Corp., through its counsel at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, filed an action in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania seeking judicial determination that its policy issued to Fellerman & Ciarimboli does not provide coverage for a pending litigation initiated in November by Messa & Associates.
