Philadelphia-headquartered Am Law 200 firms are on track this year to outpace record-high profits from 2020, according to survey results for the first six months of 2021 released in August by Wells Fargo Private Bank’s Legal Specialty Group.

In the first six months of 2021, revenue grew nearly 15% among Philadelphia firms surveyed, which falls in line with the national average of 14%. Meanwhile, expenses increased by an average of 4% in Philadelphia, also in line with the national average increase of 5%, according to the report.
