Meredith Slawe is soft-spoken. She comes across as placid and unassuming, but that’s not because she’s a wallflower. Behind her gentle demeanor is an incredible strength, one she’s drawn on to co-manage the class action department of a major law firm, cope with the grief of losing her father, and raise four children, including an infant, during a global pandemic.

Slawe, 42, would be the first to tell you she had help. Her husband Dan, a lawyer at SAP, was there every step of the way, mitigating the household chaos while they juggled working from home and raising a family. Her partner at Cozen O’Connor, Michael McTigue, was also instrumental in helping things go smoothly at work.
