The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has rejected a renewed effort to overturn the statutory damages cap that limits recovery against state agencies at $250,000.

On Monday, the justices issued one-page per curiam orders in Freilich v. Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Agency and Schaller v. New Flyer of America denying the plaintiffs’ requests to have the high court review the case in its King’s Bench jurisdiction.
