Kirkland & Ellis partners Christopher Field and Jan Scobie have joined the London office of Dechert, an Am Law 100 firm that has been particularly acquisitive in recent weeks.
Scobie, a tax expert, left Kirkland earlier this year. She’s now joined at Dechert by Field, a private equity and M&A specialist who joined Kirkland in 2005 from Magic Circle firm Slaughter and May. He made partner at Kirkland the following year.
