The attorneys who represented Michael McQueary on claims that eventually won him $12 million against Penn State have been awarded roughly $1.7 million in attorney fees and costs.

The judge who oversaw the case, Senior Judge Thomas G. Gavin, awarded the attorneys, Elliot A. Strokoff of Strokoff & Cowden and State College attorney William T. Fleming, $1.71 million in fees and costs. The ruling was in line with the amount McQueary’s attorneys had requested.
