What You Need to Know

Fourteenth Court of Appeals Place 3 Justice Jerry Zimmerer is in a runoff election against Velda Faulkner.
Harris County prosecutor Vivian King is up against assistant county public defender Gemayel Haynes for the 486th District Court.
Trial attorneys Jamie Jordan and Oscar Telfair III are in the 387th District Court runoff in Fort Bend County.

Three judicial court contests, one appellate and two district court seats in the Greater Houston area are before voters in this week’s early-voting period.

In the Fourteenth District Court of Appeals, the Place 3 race is between incumbent Justice Jerry Zimmerer and trial lawyer Velda Renita Faulkner.
