Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Monday announced the appointment of Aaron Nielson as the new solicitor general.
Nielson replaces former Solicitor General Judd Stone, who resigned from the post after he took unpaid leave to assist in Paxton’s impeachment trial before the Texas Senate.
