A few months ago I wrote a piece on how Instagram Reels had just launched and was booming. That boom hasn’t stopped and more lawyers are getting onboard each week, along with a host of other professionals. Video is becoming a hotter commodity each month and there are some good reasons to explain why this is so.

There may be a really good psychological answer as to why video makes such a huge difference in social media. A team of neuroscientists from MIT has found that the human brain can process entire images that the eye sees for as little as 13 milliseconds. This is remarkable because not only is this the first evidence of such rapid processing speed, the 13 millisecond speed is way faster than the 100 milliseconds suggested by previous studies.
