The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office announced a request for qualifications for law firms to act as special counsel for medical malpractice litigation.

The Department of Law and Public Safety announced, in a press release, that the Division of Law has issued an RFQ for special counsel for medical malpractice litigation. The state frequently hires law firms as outside counsel to represent it in litigation, bond and other legal matters. The RFQ will lead to a list of qualified firms from which retention decisions will be made, according to the press release.
