The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office announced a request for qualifications for law firms to act as special counsel in affirmative civil rights litigation and stated that RFQs for other subject areas are expected.

The Department of Law and Public Safety announced that the Division of Law issued an RFQ for special counsel for affirmative civil rights litigation. According to a press release issued by the Attorney General’s Office, the state frequently hires law firms as outside counsel to represent the state in litigation, bond and other legal matters.
