Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack announced new practice chairs and co-chairs. The moves became effective Jan. 1.

Andrew Bayer was named chair of the firm’s public entity law practice. His practice is devoted to municipal law, commercial, health care and employment defense litigation, and land use law with a focus on affordable housing development. He regularly appears before all levels of New Jersey state and federal courts, as well as the Office of Administrative Law. the firm said. Bayer has served as the township attorney and special counsel to numerous New Jersey municipalities and serves as special county counsel to Monmouth County. He has represented improvement and utility authorities in regulatory and litigation matters.
