A.Y. Strauss in Roseland brought on Michael P. Morrow as a partner in the commercial real estate group. He has 14 years’ experience representing clients in the purchase, sale, disposition, and development of hotels, solar farms, office centers, warehouses, and retail centers. He also handles lease drafting and negotiations, loan workouts, and bankruptcy, the firm said in its announcement. Morrow was previously with Hill Wallack in Princeton, where he represented national and community banks and private lenders in secured lending transactions, loan modifications and restructurings

“Michael’s range of transactional, lending, and corporate bankruptcy experience is a welcome addition to practice areas in which we’re seeing client demand,” managing partner Aaron Y. Strauss said in a statement. Morrow added: “I am thrilled to join the team of talented professionals at A.Y. Strauss. The firm has a dynamic real estate practice that I look forward to growing while continuing to represent real estate developers, investors and lenders. The firm’s commitment to maintaining and growing relationships aligns with my business philosophy.”
