Marisa Rauchway rejoined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi as a partner to lead the Roseland-based firm’s new franchise practice group. She’ll serve as a strategic legal advisor and partner to the franchise community across a wide range of industries, according to the firm. She was previously an associate at the firm before practicing at Rauchway Law in West Caldwell as managing partner, and as partner and franchise group chair at A.Y. Strauss in Roseland, according to her online profile.

“As both a seasoned corporate attorney and litigator, Marisa navigates legal issues both in and out of court, including prospective franchisees, current single- and multi-unit franchise operators, and franchisors,” the firm’s announcement said. She handles purchases and other agreements, pre-litigation and litigation matters throughout the country and abroad, claims pursuant to the New Jersey Franchise Practices Act, and disputes between and among franchisees, franchisors, and members of the supply chain industry. She also works on commercial landlord-tenant matters and shareholder disputes for clients in various industries, the firm said.
