A father and daughter who were seriously injured in a head-on crash are set to recover $1.5 million via a pre-suit settlement reached on Sept. 30 with insurance carriers in Taylor v. Mikhail.

Jeff Taylor was riding with his wife, Maria, and their daughter, Gianna, 18, on Mapleton Road in South Brunswick on Feb. 23, 2022, when an oncoming vehicle driven by Edward Mikhail crossed the center line and struck them head on. Mikhail said he was trying to pass another vehicle on the two-lane road when the accident occurred, according to Michael Paragano of Nagel Rice in Roseland, who represented the Taylors.
