NJSBA weighs in on DRE/DIE testimony following Special Master Report

Following a Special Master Report that found drug recognition expert (DRE) evidence should be admissible in evidence subject to cross examination and credibility assessments, the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) urged the state Supreme Court to reaffirm the constitutional requirements under Frye v. United States in rejecting such evidence.
