Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving your website in order to increase your rankings within search engine results pages and heighten the quality and quantity of leads coming to your site. While search engine optimization often takes time to show results (typically 6-12 months to see considerable results), there are a few things your law firm can do to seize quick wins on the path toward enhancing your overall rankings on search engines such as Google or Bing.

1. Create and/or Optimize Your Firm’s Google Business Profile

One of the easiest and quickest ways to boost your law firm’s website rankings, especially locally, is by optimizing your firm’s Google Business Profile. You can do so in a variety of ways, but first, you want to make sure your firm actually has a business profile. If your firm does not, then step one would be to create one. Once the profile is created with basic information such as firm name, phone number, and address, you’ll want to add any pictures you may have of your office and fellow attorneys. Doing so makes your profile more attractive to potential clients and helps them know what your office looks like for when or if they need to come for an in-person visit.
